Weather Round-Up For.......March 2015.
A rather dry and warm month ,with pressure persistently high. The highest pressure recorded was a 1033.8mbs on the 18th and the lowest was 998.2mbs on the 1st. Pressure was fairly persistently high for three quarters of the month ,with the last quarter seeing pressure becoming lower. Highest wind gust was 38 mph Westerly on the 31st. There were 16 dry days and 15 wet days, but despite this the average rainfall is 57mms ,but recorded rain was 34mms. Highest temperature was 14.7c/58f on the 28th and the coldest temperature was minus 1c/30f. on the 25th. There were 10 ground frosts and two air frosts. The average day temperature is 9.6c/49f and recorded temperature 11.6c/53f. The average night temperature is 2.7c/26f and recorded was 3.7 c/38f.
