A slow thaw as been around the last few days, dissolving our beautiful white snow and leaving a slushy mess behind, and the weather although milder has been rather somber looking with grey laden skies ,drizzle and fog. If you dont like this type of weather then look away now as this type of weather will be with us to greet the New Year in! So expect quiet calm conditions Thursday and Friday, but with lots of mist and fog , but perhaps some holes in the cloud so a little brightness during the day but perhaps some isolated frost over the next couple of nights with lows of minus 3c/27f. Highs in the next couple of days will be around 4c/39f.
