Welcome To Autumn...!

Its not been a bad weekend for many, some showers around but a good deal of dry and fine weather. The week ahead really starts to bring us well and truly in to Autumn from Tuesday as low pressure and cool winds  make there self felt. Tonight, will see fine conditions for all with perhaps some early mist for some Eastern parts of our region. However, the wind will freshen from the SouthWest and shroud the Hills and Mountains in the West of our region with mist and fog as we import some warm and humid air.Monday will see a mainly cloud day especially for Devils Bridge, Hay on Wye and Rhayader, with Hay Bluff at an elevation of about 2,300ft will be shrouded by cloud all day but further East for instance Tewkesbury and Shipston On Stour will see some brightness and some sunshine lifting temperatures up to 21c/70f ,but with some windy conditions especially on high ground. A warm humid night coming up and strengthening winds and on to Tuesday, will see a cold front moving from the NorthWest, which will give a wet day for most, feeling cold in the rain, although Ludlow and Newtown, will see brighter skies by midday, with Oxford hanging onto the Rain, to later in the day....But you will notice the cool , breezy conditions spreading to all in the wake of the rain ,with highs of 12c/54f in the rain, but getting to 16c/61f in the NorthWest of our region in any sunshine, breezy still, with a few showers, especially along the Black and Cambrian Mountain with lows into Wednesday morning down to 8c/46f, and then we are left in a very clean airmass so put yourself on Bredon Hill or Broadway Tower, or even Worcestershire Beacon the highest point of the Beautifull Malvern Hills at 1,395Ft and you will see up to 60 miles , a great day for hill walking though rather chilly if youre standing around for to long ,a few showers though, and if you catch one it could well be heavy with some hail and thunder and some very gusty winds...... I will be back later on Wednesday , but whatever youre doing , Please take care......Ian.
