The Easy Chair.....A Happy Ending...!
You might remember a few weeks ago on "The Easy Chair" we featured the Horse Whisperer which is my dad, doing a great job of training the Ponies "Conner" and "Christian". Conner if you have seen the video was almost trained, but Christian did not want to know anyone! A few weeks later and Dad has done an amazing job with Christian and if you watch this Video you will see why! The farm sanctury needs your financial support, so for more information please go to there website

Could Be Worse...!!!....CLOCKS GO BACK..!
It has to be said the weather could be a lot worse for this time of year, and the good news for your heating bills is that the central heating wont be eating up your money[excuse the Punn!!] as its going to be rather mild with no frost in the forseeable future. Tonight will see some rain in the East of our region Warwickshire and Oxfordshire being prone to that in the next couple of hours and its going to be windy ,but all that will die down after midnight. A mild /night breezy still rather than windy with patchy cloud. Saturday dawns bright with some hazy sunshine and thats sets the seen for the day, mainly dry, but perhaps some well scattered showers over the Black/Cambrian Mountains and Brecon Beacons ,highs of 14c/57f in Chipping Norton. A dry night to come, some patchy mist and fog and then on to Sunday which of course is Halloween so be sure to tune in first thing on Sunday morning with your "Spooky Forecast" and the Video/Audio forecast for the up coming week! Also a reminder to put your clocks Back....1 hour before you go to bed on Saturday night or even Sunday morning...See Yah Ian. http://www.netweather.tv/

Mixed Up October...!
Yes, the mixed October is still with us, but gone now is the Chill and now we are entering a much milder moist airmass, but still staying unsettled!Tonight will stay rather cloudy and breezy with some patchy rain across the area especially across the upland area of the West of our region such as the Black Mountains. A mild night though with temperatures staying in double figures so 10c/50f at the lowest. Thursday will see a damp start to the day with mist and drizzle affecting the elavated parts of the region but Oxford for instance will see the best of the brightness with 15c/59f possible but for the West of our region such as Rhayader and Llangurig will see some patchy drizzle and mainly overcast conditions with cloud covering the mountaintops. Increasingly windy from the South/SouthWest and that gives us another overcast windy/mild night and then into Friday there will be some rain over the Welsh Mountains but most places to the East of here will see some bright conditions with Birmingham touching 15c/59f in any brightness but in exposed places such as the Malvern Hills winds could well gust in excess of 40mph but it wont be a cold wind as it will be coming in from the South. I will be back later on Friday with your weekend forecast, so take care See Ya Ian http://www.netweather.tv/

Chilly And Unsettled.....
The chilly and often Unsettled theme will continue although Saturday will be milder than Sunday! Tonight will see rain moving in accompanied by a strong wind and this is likely to persist into the early hours of Saturday, but clearing away by the time that the it begins to get light. Then a day of sunny intervals and perhaps a few heavy showers but most place will stay dry. Highs of 13c/57f. Then a dry clear night to come and a widespread frost will develop with lows of minus1c/30f by the time daybreak arrives on Sunday, then a fairly sunny day but feeling cold in the brisk Northerly wind with highs of 9c/48f. Whatever you are doing this weekend ,have a good one and I will be back later on Sunday. See Ya...Ian http://netweather.tv/

Much The Same!!
Its certainly felt very chilly in the last few days and the good news or bad news depending on your stance, is that there is little change in the next couple of days, with a lot of fine dry weather with some overnight frosts! Tonight will turn cold and clear with a widespread frost developing, some rural places could see temperatures as low as minus4c/26f. by the time we get to 7am on Thursday morning, then a fine day with good sunny intervals .perhaps a few showers later in the day but most places staying dry with top temperatures of 11c/52f .Any showers dying out and then a dry clear night, although not as cold but a low temperature of minus1c/30f early on Friday morning. The day will be fine with some brighter or sunny intervals at times and less cold with 13c/55f. Changes to milder weather over the weekend, but turning wet and windy too, but more about that on Friday. Take care....See Ya Ian. http://www.netweather.tv/

Staying cold and Unsettled!
Its been a beautiful day across the area , after the first widespead frost with lows of minus 2/3 quite widely this morning at around 7am! As we move into the new week it stays often cold and breezy with some rain and possibly, sleet and Mountain snow later in the week , but more about that nearer the time. There will be frost to contend with, but this is quite likely to be patchy.Tonight will see some patchy cloud and perhaps some light showers ,so frost is unlikely. Monday, will see some fair weather but rather a lot of cloud, and a fair breeze to, from a Northerly Quarter and the odd light shower is possible, Highs of 13/55f....Tuesday will see some rain over the early hours and clearing first thing ,by the time it gets light and then rather breezy with the winds coming from the Northerly direction and it will feel rather chilly too in that wind, some showers as well but these very well scattered. Highs of 10c/50f...Wednesday will see patchy frost early on and then a cold bright day, but rather windy and the wind chill will be fairly high, so hats and scarfs at the ready, mainly dry, with a top temperature of 8c/46f. I will be back later on Wednesday See Ya Ian.....http://www.netweather.tv/

Slippery Slope....!
The picture to the right will give you some indication of what weather we can expect this weekend and into next week as it will be a real slippery slope into some wintry weather ,so nothing mild in the outlook! Tonight, will see any residual showers dying out and the cloud breaking, winds falling light so that means a cold night with a widespread groundfrost and some places in the rural West may get down to 0c/32f which in an air frost. Saturday will dawn cold and sunny, but cloud will soon build up to perhaps give the odd light shower here and there, especially in the East of our area, for instance in Rugby, Warwickshire. Light to moderate winds from mainly a Northerly direction. Top temperatures of 14c/57f. That leads to another cold night over into Sunday with temperatures at around 7am close to freezing in many areas and in the Welsh Marches and into Mid Wales as low as Minus 1c/30f, but a dry sunny start again, but cloud will soon develop and give a mainly dry day but rather overcast, top temperatures of 12c/54f.......I will be back later on Sunday with an even Colder outlook...Time to turn up the heating!! See Ya Ian...http://www.netweather.tv/
Your Photos and Video by Tonia Marshall
These are just a few pictures and video submitted to WW.COM ,with thanks to Tonia Marshall! The balloons pictures and video are of the Balloon festival in Evesham back in the Summer. Balloons are very reliant on the weather , obviously they need light winds ,dry conditions and preferably cool conditions as this aids in the lift of the balloon.
The Albuquerque balloon festival in New Mexico USA, is one of the biggest festivals in the world, and it has a unique feature , that is called the "Box Effect" and this simply means that balloons can take off and land virtually in the same place thanks to its topography, here is the link to this fascinating effect....http://www.theweatherprediction.com/weatherpapers/107/index.html

Murky...!
Its been a rather chilly day across our patch, with temperatures hardly reaching double figures ,perhaps a wake up call that Winter is not to far away and believe me its not, with next week holding the reigns for the first thrust of Winter, but more on that later in a few days!! Tonight will see some misty hill fog conditions for all and in any clearer spells out towards the Elan Valley temps could well get near Freezing so a touch of frost. Friday, will see that repeat performance of low cloud and mist and murk, but later the breeze will freshen from the NorthWest and will stir that cloud so hopefully some bright or sunny intervals before the sun goes down! In summery a cold murcky start, a better afternoon before some patchy Evening rain! I will see you tomorrow untill then God Bless...See Ya Ian.

Different Days ....Same Weather...!!
With high pressure still in charge over the Uk, but with the winds coming in from the NorthEast, little change in our weather over the next few days, so "Quiet" weather is just about the theme. Both Tonight and Wednesday and Thursday will see extensive cloud cover with misty conditions over Hills and Mountains both tonight and tomorrow night with lots of cloud during the day but perhaps the far West of our area across the Beautiful Welsh Marches perhaps may see a glimmer of sunshine. Not to cold overnight, with that persistent cloud so temperatures over this period no lower than 6c/ 43f and day time temperatures on the cool side with 13c/55f being the best we can expect. A lot of changes to come in our weather from the weekend onwards but more about that in a couple of days. Ive noticed a lot of traffic from all parts of the globe ,so welcome to worcestershireweathercom, and even though this forecast is not for your part of the world, we would love for you to share you're weather experiences with us as regards anything weather related. Settled, but more Cloud!!
Ok, folks the weather will remain settled and Quiet into the near future, but with increasing cloud so colder by day! Tonight will see clear periods with a breeze from the NorthEast and this breeze will move in cloud from the North Sea with most places seeing a cloudy start to Tuesday but perhaps the far West of our region into the beautiful wilds of Mid Wales may see some extended clear spells overnight allowing for a touch of frost in Llangurig, but for most a cloudier day away from the Elan Valley with a notable breeze from the NorthEast so making it feel very cool at times, but some sunny intervals cannot be ruled out anywhere and a maximum temperature of 17c/63f in the Elan valley but typically 15c/59f elsewhere. I will be back later tommorow, See Ya Ian......http://www.netweather.tv/

Quiet......!
Its been a lovely day across the area today after that low cloud moved out of the way! More of this sort of weather to come right across the upcoming week ,but with some subtle changes. Tonight will see clear spells but some low cloud will reach the area from the East later on in the night time period, so avoiding a frost but lower temperatures than last night typical values down to 7c/45f then on Monday, a cloudy ,dull start, with hill mist and fog although places like Hay Bluff at an elevation of 2,300ft or Pen-y-fan in the Beautiful Brecon Beacons at almost 3,000ft may well stick there peaks into the blue sky!! The low cloud will disappear during the morning and give all places a sunny, day with lighter winds, although the temperatures may well be a few degrees lower than today @ 18c/64f . I will be back later tomorrow, See Ya Ian http://www.netweather.tv/

Set Fair.,,,,,
Despite a lot of low cloud today, its felt warm and humid in any sunshine with 21c/70f reached here at ww.com headquarters and at a number of other places too! Little change over the weekend, but perhaps more in the way of sunshine. Tonight, will see misty murky conditions with hill and mountain fog and still with that nagging NorthEasterly wind so mist rather than fog being the main problem! Not to cold with lows overnight of 10c/50f. Saturday, will dawn misty but some holes soon appearing in the cloud and some pleasant hazy sunshine but some drizzle especially on high ground from time to time especially over the Cambrian Mountains. In any good sunny intervals say for instance across the Vales of Evesham and Gloucester 22c/72f may well be reached!! A repeat on Sunday with the best of the sunshine in the afternoon. Enjoy your weekend, I will be back later on Sunday, Take care.....See Ya Ian.

An Indian and a T,shirt.....!!
The weather in the next couple of days will turn increasingly warm and humid but of course there will be the "odd fly in the ointment"!! Tonight will see any cloud clearing, and then some mist and fog developing ,although not widespread. Temperatures at 7am will be around 7c/45f and then those misty and murky conditions will slowly clear, and lead to some sunny intervals with temperatures pushing up to 18c/64f in Leominster for instance. Cloud will move in from the SouthEast later and some light showery rain ,courtesy of a "Warm" front will provide a damp end to the day ,with perhaps some heavier pulses of rain especially across Warwickshire and Oxfordshire and this takes us into Friday, with a damp, mild, humid start with temperatures no lower than 15c/59f to take us into the morning hours , but this clearing and the sun breaking out and it will feel more like August than October, with temperatures climbing to 23c/73f in good old Oxford, so the so called "Indian Summer" which is "Tshirt" weather is likely over this period!! Enjoy this short lived warmth because as we head into the second half of October, it turns colder and stormy!! I will be with you later on Friday, SeeYa Ian. http://www.netweather.tv/

Septembers Weather Round Up....!
September, was a "mixed" month of weather, going against the default September of late with prolonged settled conditions! Rainfall came below average with 30.8mms recorded which is about half of what is expected for September. The highest temperature recorded was 22.6c/73f on the 9th and the lowest temperature recorded was 2.9c/37f on the 25th. The month as a whole was fairly benign, except for the notable "cool" spell from the 24th to the 27th. The monthly average temperature, was just about average with no major fluctuations......
MIXED!!
Its been a fine day across the area with a lot of warm sunshine, but I hope you have made the most of it as its going to be more unsettled over the next few days ,indeed the coming week! Tonight will see the breeze freshen and cloud increase which will bring rain in overnight and into Tuesday, the heaviest of the rain in the West patchy elsewhere. The day will see more cloud than today with some sunny intervals too but a notable breeze from the South with a few very scattered showers. Highs of 17c/63f. Wednesday will see some rain in the early hours and then another batch moving in from the South later on in the day, Highs of 16c/61f. I will update your forecast later on Wednesday, take care See Ya.... Ian

A Breather!!
The weekend ends on a rather miserable note, with today as if you need to be told, overcast, windy and wet! The good news is that once things start to clear up later, a window of better weather tomorrow, but with the seasonal glitch of mist and fog!
So for the rest of today, and tonight, will see that rain gradually easing away, to the East and if your lucky you may see some late brightness or sunshine especially in the West of our region. Tonight will see the winds easing and clear spells developing ,so thats the perfect reciepe at this time of year for mist and fog, although this may not be widespread, there could wel be one or two dense patches.Monday, will see a fair amount of dry bright weather after that patchy mist and fog clears with top temperatures of 17c/63f, but later in the day winds will freshen from the south ahead of another front moving in for the overnight period! I will be back later on Monday for a forecast for the next few days...See Ya Ian. http://www.netweather.tv/

The Easy Chair....."The Horse Whisperer"...!!!
Its not very often we feature Animals here on ww.com,but there are some exceptions! After all animals are part of Nature, and the saying goes if animals lie down it means rain!! Oh sorry that's Cows !! But on a serious note this short video is of Britain's First Animal sanctuary. Janet Taylor, is the sanctuary's founder now for 25 years and bring in my Dad a local man who has had a big part in bringing the brown pony "Conner" from a wild uncontrollable pony to a meek and tame animal. So we are all proud of my Dad, as he says, hes got a lot of patience and a rare gift with animals as you will see and he can virtually make a horse walk backwards, but he will admit ,he has not got to much patience with Humankind! Our thanks to Janet Taylor too, with giving Dad the privledge of such a task, and as he admits its one of the most rewarding things hes ever done, and its great that there are folks out there like Janet who have a deep love for Animals which we all should be very grateful to her. The other white pony is called "Christian" where at the moment Dad is trying to work is magic! The Sanctuary needs your support so I will leave this link with you which tells you everything about the farm sanctuary, and how you can help!
Ducks and Fish weather!
Well the weekend is here once again, and I think Ducks and My fish pictured here are the only ones that will enjoy the weather this weekend, but having said that, Saturday looks a resonable day, although some heavy rain later. This Evening, will see that heavy rain clearing with the East of our area such as Banbury will see the last of the rain. Then once, that has cleared, some clear spells developing, which given all the rainfall today [over an inch in many places!] that low level moisture will allow some patchy mist and fog to develop overnight with lows of 5c/41 around the Welsh Marches.Saturday dawns bright after any early mist and fog, then a mainly fair day for most with rather a lot of cloud, with highs of 16c/61f but then some heavy rain moving up from the South during the early evening and places like Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire will see that rain first and during the later Evening that rain spreading to all parts, so Evesham mop fair could see that rain set in about 8pm. The early hours of Sunday will see that rain clearing and then again some mist and fog developing for a short time, and lows of 8c/46f before the next batch of heavy rain sets in around midmorning with Oxfordshire seeing the heaviest of that rain with places in the West of our region such as the Elan Valley seeing the least amount of rain ,which makes a change for that part of the world! Highs of 14c/57f at best but generally a cold wet day for many. I will be back later on Sunday, Enjoy your weekend! See Ya Ian.
