On Cloud 9 ...!!
Ok, the weather is not exactly "heavenly" but it could be a whole lot worse for this time of year.!! Tonight, will see a widespread frost developing temperatures down to minus5c/24f and then a bright start albeit very cold and that sets a fair day ,though cold max temp 3c/37f but with a noticeable bitter wind from the East.Sunday, similar, conditions cold throughout, but very light winds. Dont miss our "Top Of The World" feature in the next day or so where we will be showing a short video documentary on why the Australian floods have occurred, and later on Sunday we will have our week ahead video forecast. Have a great weekend , it will be ideal weather for wrapping up warm and going for a long walk into our beautiful countryside... Enjoy! See Ya Ian.

Remaining Cold and mainly Dry.....
A few Glitches tonight ,so unable unfortunately to bring you youre "week ahead video forecast" but the week ahead looks predominantly dry, rather cloudy and increasingly cold from mid week onwards where there may be a few Wintry Flurries! I will update the forecast but the general theme is for quiet conditions this week. Some changes coming up to worcestershireweather.com as we move into February, as we will be introducing weather maps for the first time, and there will be lots more "new" features in the Weeks ahead. Later this week we will also be featuring on the "Top Of the World" an explanation of the severe flooding around parts of the world such as Australia and why this is happening in a short video Documentary so please dont miss that!! Thats all from me tonight, I will be back shortly but untill then take care...See Ya Ian.

The Next Month...Februarys Thoughts....
After one of the coldest Decembers since 1890 and a very"benign" January what can we expect for the last month of Winter???It looks as though this month again will see us turn into the depths of Winter despite the lengthening days!! Ice, Frost And Snow will again be part of the menu, although we probably will not repeat the Decembers extremes!! Some milder days are possible but still below the average temperatures of 7c/45 but on the whole a lot of cold/very cold conditions. Winds will be mainly from the North or East hence the cold, but it wont top some Atlantic influence trying to bring some milder conditions in, resulting in a "Battleground situation" so a chance of heavy snow/perhaps turning to rain....resulting in possible flooding. Overall ,expect some "severe" weather at times this month. You Have Been Warned!!
Cold,Dry and Mainly Cloudy........
This picture here may be misleading as this weekend apart from tonights mist and frost will see a lot of cloud, dreary but mainly dry Winter weather. Tonight, will see a frost first thing with temperatures especially around the Welsh Marches ,Hay On Wye for instance, will see temperatures down to minus 5c/24f with patchy mist and fog just about anywhere, but cloud will move in from the NorthEast later in the night and lift temperatures but any high ground will become misty and perhaps damp.Saturday/Sunday alike will then see a lot of cloud with some hill and mountain drizzle ,but low ground mainly dry,and temperatures around 4c/39f at best, during the day and no lower than 1c/34f around the nighttime period so most if not all places will escape a frost, very similar into next week, but more about that on our Video forecast on Sunday Evening! Untill then have a great weekend.....See Ya Ian.

Dreary...!
The "mid winter blues" is really a symptom the weather has caught over this Winter and this weekend although mild will see little if any brightness with more rain and wind! Tonight will see some clearer conditions with temperatures down to 7c/45f but after midnight the wind will increase and rain will set in and all of us wil have a dreary, dark start to Saturday, rain and wind will be knocking on your windows and that sets the scene for the day with winds in exposed locations gusting in excess of 30mph from the South West, but that rain will ease off in the afternoon , with windy ,dry conditions to follow over the Evening period, a mild cloudy windy night into Sunday morning with cloud and murky conditions ,and rain will become more widespread during the Afternoon with some heavy bursts...See I told you it would be Dreary!! I will be back with our video/week ahead forecast later on Sunday and perhaps some better news!! See Ya Ian...
