Yes its that time of year once again, when the Annual Mop fair, pays its visit around our area and its our turn to host the annual event here in my home town of of Evesham. The weather wont be too fair though [pardon the punn!] but for its first night tonight, its not going to be to bad with some "fair" and mild weather. So some clear spells for all first thing tonight, but during the early hours of Friday, we will see the breeze freshen from the SouthEast, and thickening cloud which will herald yet another weather system moving in from the Atlantic, to spoil things on Friday. So the morning rush hour will see that wind and rain piling in from the SouthWest, with gusts of wind in excess of 40 mph in some exposed locations, the rain will be heavy at times just about everywhere, such as Stroud and Ludlow, but there will be some brightness in between the rain which will lift temperatures to a healthy 16c/61f in Birmingham and Cheltenham, but the rain will be with us for most of the day, only clearing later on in Hereford and Hay on Wye with perhaps some late brightness Thats all from me now and if youre going to the Mop, enjoy the ride!! See Ya tommorow...Ian

Typical Autumn......!!
Hi Folks, Its been a fairly wet day across all parts, with some places picking up nearly half an inch of rain, but now the front has cleared, and the skies are turning clear and at this time of year with the nights now longer than the days , with all that low level moisture after todays rain, we will see mist and fog developing widely, some of this will be dense so caution needed if youre driving out and about tonight and first thing on Thursday, and the mist and fog will be with us for a good part of the morning, unless you live on high ground such as Beautiful, Llangurig,Powys where a bright morning is likely, but the Severn Valley and the Vale of Evesham and the Thames Valley, will see that fog holding on to perhaps midday! Cold in the fog, but places such as Rhayader Powys will see some sunshine and lifting temperatures to 16c/61 whereas Oxford may see temperatures struggling in the mist with 10c/50f. Mainy dry with light winds, but some showers may effect the Black/Cambrian Mountains, and the Brecon Beacons later in the afternoon! I will be back later tomorrow, take care and sleep tight and have a good day on Thursday! Anything else related to weather please go to

Hello Atlantic......!
Evening! The Atlantic ocean is really starting to shift up its gears to bring us all some wet and windy for the foreseeable future, and tonight will see the first of some really unsettled weather already in the West of our Region. Tonight, will see some showery rain moving across all parts , and as we move into Wednesday this rain will become quite heavy across most areas during the early hours and as daybreaks this rain will become rather showery and then later in the West such as Monmouth, during the afternoon skies will brighten and some late sunshine is possible but most other areas will stay dull and cloudy for the best part of the day, with some patchy rain. Winds will be from the south, for most of the day, but will veer to a Westerly direction later. Temperatures peaking at 17c for Warwick , so not a cold day! I will be back later on Wednesday, so take care and sleep tight!! See Ya Ian. http://www.netweather.tv/

Rather Cold, but Fair!
It was a cold morning across the area overnight, with some extensive ground frost, but lots of sunshine as a result. Tonight will see clear spells and the Welsh Marches such as Kington could well see an air frost with lows down to 0c/32f, very cold for this time of year. Sunday will see that cold start, with sunshine ,but places in the East of our region such as Warwickshire may see some cloudy spells with the best of the Sunshine in the West. Monday, will see more cloud around with some light showery rain especially in the East such as Coventry. A cold day with highs of only 10c/50f at best. That cloud tends to break during the early hours of Tuesday morning which may allow some patchy frost and fog to develop, but as the winds start to pull in from the south , a warmer day with some sunny intervals and highs of 17c/64f. I will be back later on Tuesday evening See Ya Ian http://www.netweather.tv/

The Easy Chair..President Barack Obamas, Lightning Speech!!
He may be the most powerful man on this Planet ,but the US president has a high regard for Mother Nature as this link shows. When it comes to the awesome power of the weather even the US president will bow down and become very meek in the presence of Natures fury! Anyway, have a look at the link below and see what you think......!!

Showers with Jack and the Kitchen Sink!!
All sorts of weather coming up in the next few days, but the general trend will be for it to turn much colder!!Theres a lot of heavy thundery downpours across our region tonight, and these will slowly die out, some areas of course will stay dry,and some clear spells developing, lows of 9c/48f,Friday, will start off with a cool breeze from the North with some patchy cloud, and some residual showers across Eastern Warwickshire, and Oxfordshire such as Rugby and Bicester, but most places staying fine, although always a lot of cloud, very cool, 14c/57f at best in some sheltered areas such as Redditch or Bromsgrove best of the brightness across our Western parts such as Rhayader. The cloud will melt away across Western Regions during the Evening, and this will lead to a very chilly night with lows on Saturday morning around 7am of 2c/36f across Birmingham, Hereford and Monmouth and then a fair day with some sunshine but rather alot of cloud developing but staying mainly dry, with perhaps a hint of some light showers across the Coventry area. I will be back on Saturday for an updated forecast, but untill then take care See Yaa Ian. http://www.netweather.tv/ http://www.thepcmanwebsite.com/aff_game_list.shtml
