Happy Easter!

Hi Folks. Not a lot to say about the weather other than saying we are still in the record breaking cold for March. On the other side of the coin, it will be a fair, settled Easter, with some harsh frosty nights but with some welcome sunny intervals during the daytime and with lighter winds it will feel somewhat warmer!Anyway whatever youre doing this Easter, have a good one! Ian.

Your Week Ahead Forecast....

Friday 22 March 2013

Your weekend weather....!

Evening! Not often we talk about widespread snow during this time of the year, but the Wintry weather is not going to get any better during this weekend and into next week. Tonight will see increasing snow on high ground such as the Cotswolds and Malverns, so bear this in mind if youre travelling and this wintry weather looks like falling down to low levels overnight and into Saturday. So the new day is likely to greet us very white and to add to the equation strong gusty winds will add too drifting snow especially across high and exposed places. The snow is likely to be relentless tomorrow with some deep falls of snow up to 20cms or more over high ground that [8 inches] and even lowers ground could see a couple if not more inches. Feeling extremely cold in the high wind chill. The snow will slowly fade during late Saturday and into Sunday with some light snow flurries possible but the wind chill will make it feel bitterly cold with temperatures not getting above freezing, if so some daily cold records for late March will be broken! Have a good weekend , and I will be with you on Sunday evening. Ian....
