A slowly improving picture through the Bank Holiday weekend, but rather disappointing for the last Bank Holiday of the Summer! Tonight, will see the heavy downpours slowly fading but some will keep going through the night. Lows of 10c/50f .Saturday, will dawn rather cloudy some brightness but again some rain developing but as always some place will stay dry becoming breezy, and feeling rather cool in that wind 15c/59f...Sunday similar, less rain more brightness, and feeling that little bit warmer in the Sunshine. Highs of 18c/64f. I will be back later on Sunday with your week ahead forecast. See Ya Ian.

Weekend Weather.

The weekend starts off bright enough , but rain will move across most places today, with some welcome and heavy rain in places. That should clear overnight to leave rather misty murcky conditions Sunday morning, and again showers are likely to break out during the afternoon . Temperatures in the warm category in any sunshine and a rather muggy night to come tonight. See Ya Sunday!

WEATHER ROUNDUP FOR JULY 2011.

July was once again a predominantly unsettled month. There was no picticularly hot spell, 26.2c /80f was the top temperature this month in this area. Rainfall was once again below average in the Vale Of Evesham, coming in at 20mms/less than one inch, compare that to the monthly average of 52mms [2inches] Of note here, is that up to the middle of August only 9 inches of rain has fell since Jan 1st ,compare that to the month of July 2007 nearly that much rain fell in that month alone!! Mid month was fairly windy too with gusts over 30mph mainly from a Westerly direction on the 17th. The lowest temperature recorded this month was 3c/37f on the 3rd. The average nightime temperature here is 12.4c and the recorded average came out at 10.2c,/50f so cooler than average, the Daytime high average is 21.7c making July the warmest month of the year and the recorded average was just below that at 21.1c/70f. Once again a rather poor month for Summer lovers as even when it was dry there was rather a lot of cloud around.

A rather cloudy muggy night to come and then Sunday will start off similar to Saturday with some showers pushing through first thing, then becoming drier and brighter but also fresher with some pleasant Sunny intervals.
